R&Delivery - FAQ

Who can collect my parcel at the chosen delivery point? Can I ask for an anonymous delivery?

The delivery point can deliver ONLY to the person notified via e-mail to R&D (rd.ispra@gmail.com).
The delivery point will ask you to provide a valid identity document in order to deliver goods to the specified person.
If you ask for it, we can collect your parcels on your behalf.
In this case, you'll be able to collect your goods at our secretariat, at your earliest convenience.
The service cannot be used anonymously.

How do I fill-in the form of the supplier from which I'm purchasing online?

You simply have to remember to insertbeside your name and surname, the name and address of the delivery point you have chosen.
This is really important: in this was your internet shop/supplier can send your goods to the right place.
Please fill in the form in the following ways:

CASE 1 – the form "Delivery Place" provided by the internet supplier has the field "azienda":
If the form you are filling in foresees the box “azienda”, you should write:
- your name and surname in the given box
- the name of the chosen IndaBox Point in the field “azienda”
- the address of the IndaBox Point in the field "address"

The image below is only an example; forms can differ from site to site

CASE 2 – the form provided by the internet supplier DOESN'T foresee the field "azienda":
If the form you are filling in doesn't foresee the field "azienda", you should write:
- your name and surname in the given fields by adding “presso” or “c/o”, followed by the name of the chosen IndaBox Point
- the address of the chosen IndaBox Point in the field “indirizzo”

The image below only is only an example; forms can differ from site to site.

If a field “note” is present, it's always good to indicate that the parcel has to be delivered to the place indicated in the form, by writing for example:
“Prego consegnare presso l’attività commerciale indicata”

Should I place the name and address of the IndaBox point also for invoicing?

NO!
Suppliers usually request to fill in two different forms:
1) A form containing invoicing information
2) A form containing delivery information

To this regard, remember that:
1) Invoicing information must be your name, surname, codice fiscale, address, etc.
2) Delivery information have to be filled in as shown above (your name and surname + name and surname of the chosen IndaBox Point).

It's very important that delivery information is correctly filled in.

When will I receive a confirmation about my order?

You'll receive an email and an SMS as soon as the parcel service delivers your goods to the IndaBox Point.

How can I collect my parcel at the IndaBox Point?

You'll receive an email at the email address you provided. In this email you'll find a “modulo di ritiro”, that you should print out, sign and give to the IndaBox Point in order to collect your goods.

I lost my Modulo di Ritiro, what can I do?

Don't worry! A copy of your "modulo di ritiro" is always available at the R&D Secretariat (bdg.63).

In which cases can my delivery be refused?

The delivery of your goods can be refused in these cases:
- parcels exceeding the limits: bigger than 0,2 m2 (longer side >1.8 mt) and/or heavier than 15 kg
- goods not compliant with laws
- goods not paid in advance (cash on delivery goods or goods coming from extra EU countries for which customs taxes or other kind of expenses are due).
Attention! The delivery point won't accept your goods if the parcel service asks for any kind of taxes, charges, etc. Goods have to be paid entirely in advance!

What can I do in case of problems with my delivery?

You can get in touch with us or with the chosen IndaBox Point to get information about eventual delivery issues.

When can I use the service?

The service is available 24/24. Deliveries can be notified at any time, but always check opening hours and holidays of your Indabox point. In those days the Indabox point won't of course be able to accept your parcels! In particular, around Christmas and in August it's better to check in advance the availability of your Indabox point: you can phone the number indicated in the data sheet.

May I use R&Delivery for all my deliveries?

R&Delivery can be used for any deliveries in the EU. Don't forget that goods and taxes have to be paid in advance.

Does it work only for goods bought on the internet?

No, you can use this service for any other deliveries, as long as they respect the rules and limits of our service.

Does this service work with goods to be paid cash on delivery?

No, your delivery point doesn't pay anything on your behalf and your goods will be refused.

Can I use R&Delivery to return goods?

Of course! Get in touch with the R&D Secretariat to organise the return.
To better manage the return of your goods, you should follow these steps:
1) Ask the sender to send a pony express to the chosen Indabox point, by cleary indicating the name and the address of the place.
2) Notify your "reso" to R&D
3) Bring your parcel to the chosen IndaBox point and make sure you indicated all your recipient's data, the possible "codice reso” (see below) and your name, surname and address.

4) As soon as the pony express picks up your parcel from the IndaBox you have chosen, you will receive an email and an SMS. This service "costs" 1 IndaBox credit.

What is the “codice reso”?

When you decide for a good to be returned to an online provider, sometimes a return code is given to be indicated on the parcel. This code is indicated by the sender and is useful to better organise the return process of your goods.
